BAPTISM

At the end of August we baptized once again. Erika, asked herself again and again, why did I wait so long? It was her son who played a key role in her finding Christ, so Erika requested that her son also play a role in her baptism. It was always a joy to see converts take the next step in their faith journey.

BAPTISM REQUESTED

It was during the youth missions trip to London that a number of young people sensed that God desired their whole hearts. On their return, they reported to the church body that three requested to be baptized, and three more have joined them. They have now been introduced to what baptism is and will be baptized in December.

FELLOWSHIP AND LAUGHTER

We hosted our the 50 year olds plus group recently in our home - just a time of games and laughter. Loneliness is one of the greatest felt needs in Germany - often families are estranged - so these opportunities draw quite a few people who do not attend a church. Relationships are essential in building platforms for the gospel. As it is frequently stated: People do not care how much you know, until they know how much you care.

• Five people have submitted for believer's baptism.
• The missions trip for the youth was a major success.
• The Initiative for church planting is rejoicing in salvation decisions.

• The leadership of the church is assuming the role of shared leadership in order to provide the church continued leadership in years to come. They have asked me to mentor and coach them going forward.

Thank you for partnering with us as we seek to obey the great commission - go taking the gospel to the unreached, baptize, disciple.
