One a recent youth retreat, young 13 year old Fatima heard a clear presentation of the gospel and sensed all was not right with her soul and God. She spoke into the night with her roommate and prayed, placing her trust in Christ after speaking with the group leaders. What a joy to see another daughter of this former muslim refugee family from Iran place their trust in Jesus.
I saw Luisa the first time as a tiny baby. Now she is all grown up and told me Easter Sunday that God has called her to be a full-time vocational missionary. I'm so excited for her. This made it the perfect Easter Sunday for me. Having been on three short-term mission trips sealed the deal in her heart - she can be happy with no less than serving her Savior and the broken of this world. It was during her latest trip (to the Philippines, to work with slum children), that she presented her testimony, explained the gospel and over 140 accepted Christ as their Savior.
Praise: Church unity. Peace within the refugee group.
